So, what does T Advisors do for healthcare? Clinics, medical practices, and care facilities.

Our principals ran telecom and IT companies. Now we work as part of your team.

We keep your medical facility connected and HIPAA-ready: primary and backup internet, SD-WAN, and secure VPN to every location.

We protect patient data with managed firewalls, network security, and threat monitoring, and keep encrypted backups in secure data centers.

We modernize your phones: encrypted calling with 911 location, patient contact centers, secure fax, and encrypted email.

We add AI cameras that alert your staff to a fall in the waiting room or someone at a restricted door. Plus AI tools, cloud, and IT support.

Out of more than 130 providers, we bring you two or three options, all ready to sign the Business Associate Agreement HIPAA requires.

You sign directly with the provider at no cost to you, and we renegotiate before every renewal.

One portal shows every location, every service, what it costs, and when it renews.

You focus on your patients. We take care of the technology. Let's talk.

T Advisors works with clinics, physician practices, nursing and care facilities, and the groups that own or operate many of them. The firm reviews the technology every location depends on, brings the facility two or three good options for each service, and stays involved through installation and every renewal.

The principals spent their careers running telecom and IT companies, and they work as part of the facility's own team rather than as a vendor. T Advisors does not sell its own phone, internet or security services, and no provider owns any part of the firm.

The facility pays no fee. It signs directly with the provider it chooses, at the same price as buying direct, and the provider pays T Advisors. This is explained at the start of every engagement.

Medical facilities run on their connections. Telehealth visits, the electronic health record, e-prescribing, lab results and patient calls all stop when the internet line goes down, and HIPAA requires safeguards for every system that stores or carries patient information.

Most facilities grew one location at a time, so each site often has its own carrier, its own phone system and its own contracts. The result is uneven protection, phone lines that do not send a 911 caller's location, old copper lines that carriers are retiring, and contracts that renew at full price because nobody is tracking the dates.

T Advisors brings all of it into one picture and one plan, with the paperwork HIPAA expects from every vendor kept in order.

AI cameras

Cameras with AI in waiting rooms, hallways and entrances that alert staff to a possible fall or to someone at a restricted door. The alerts help staff respond faster; they do not replace supervision, and cameras stay out of exam and resident rooms.

Talk to T Advisors

A review of what each location has today, and where it can improve, starts with a short conversation.

HIPAA and the BAA

Every option comes from a provider that signs the Business Associate Agreement.

HIPAA requires a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every vendor that handles patient information. T Advisors brings the facility only options from providers that offer a BAA for the service in question, and records each signed BAA next to its contract.

The services are set up to be HIPAA-ready: encrypted, monitored and backed up. Compliance itself remains with the facility, through its own policies, training and risk assessment, and T Advisors does not certify it.

  • Providers that sign the BAA for each service
  • Every BAA tracked with its contract and renewal date
  • 911 location as Kari's Law and RAY BAUM'S Act require
  • Copper (POTS) lines replaced before carriers retire them
  • Encrypted voice, fax, email and off-site backup

How it works

From more than 130 providers to the right one for each location.

The heavy lifting sits with T Advisors, not with the clinical or office staff, and the last step does not end.

  1. 01

    Review

T Advisors gathers the invoices, contracts and equipment at every location and maps what is in place, what it costs and where the gaps are.

  2. 02

    Compare

From more than 130 providers, the firm brings two or three good options for each service, all ready to sign the BAA.

  3. 03

    Sign direct

The facility signs directly with the provider it chooses, at no cost for the advice and at the same price as buying direct.

  4. 04

    Install

T Advisors stays with the facility through the installation of every order, until each service is live.

  5. 05

    Track and renew

The firm tracks every contract and every BAA, reminds the facility well before each renewal and renegotiates at renewal. One portal shows every location, every service, what it costs and when it renews.

Screenshot of the portal The client portal, showing a technology portfolio with monthly spend, contracts expiring within ninety days, spend by category and provider mix. Spend figures and the account name are obscured.

Groups that own or operate many clinics or care facilities gain the most from a single standard. T Advisors designs the connectivity, security and phone setup once, and then applies it at every location, with one negotiation covering all of them.

New or acquired facilities are brought onto the same standard, and the portal shows every building side by side, so the operator can see which locations cost more, which contracts renew next, and where each BAA is on file.

Questions from healthcare clients

T Advisors works with clinics, physician and specialty practices, nursing and care facilities, and the groups that own or operate many of them, in South Florida and across the United States.

No. T Advisors sets up services that are HIPAA-ready, from providers that sign the Business Associate Agreement, and keeps each BAA on file with its contract. Compliance itself remains with the facility, through its own policies, training and risk assessment.

A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is the contract HIPAA requires between a healthcare provider and any vendor that creates, receives, stores or transmits patient information on its behalf. It sets out how the vendor protects that information.

The facility pays no fee. It signs directly with the provider it chooses and pays the same price as buying direct, and the provider pays T Advisors. No provider owns any part of the firm, and this is explained at the start of every engagement.

Yes. For groups with many locations, T Advisors designs one standard for connectivity, security and phones, applies it at every facility with one negotiation, and shows every location in one portal.

The facility focuses on its patients. T Advisors takes care of the technology.
