Partner program

MSP Partner Program: earn on every service a customer buys.

A program for managed service providers. The partner keeps its own managed IT and security work and the customer relationship. T Advisors adds connectivity, voice, contact center and SD-WAN underneath it, and shares the provider compensation.

The opportunity

Customers need more than most MSPs sell today.

Revenue left on the table

Every customer buys internet, voice and contact center services. Where the MSP does not sell them, that spend goes to someone else, and so does the relationship that comes with it.

No new headcount

T Advisors brings the team that quotes, project manages, implements and supports the work. The partner hires and trains no one.

Deeper relationships

Solving more of a customer's problems makes an MSP harder to replace, and opens doors to parts of the estate it does not see today.

There is no reason to walk away from services the partner does not currently sell. Bringing T Advisors in earns the partner a share of every one of them.

How it works

The partner opens the door. T Advisors does the work. The partner gets paid.

The customer pays no advisory or assessment fee. The providers compensate T Advisors, and T Advisors shares that with the partner.

  1. 01

    Introduce

T Advisors becomes an extension of the partner's team. The partner flags an account or an upcoming renewal.

  2. 02

    Assess

A no-cost technology assessment of the account, run with the partner rather than around it.

  3. 03

    Register and quote

The opportunity is registered with the providers in the partner's name, then the best-fit providers are sourced and quoted.

  4. 04

    Implement

The customer signs directly with the provider. T Advisors project manages the turn-up.

  5. 05

    Get paid

An upfront bonus at signing, then a monthly residual for the life of the account.

What the partner can offer

A full stack, delivered by the T Advisors team under the partner's relationship.

Connectivity

Fiber, coax, copper, satellite and wireless, designed for redundancy, diversity and resiliency, with cellular backup where the physical paths are limited.

Voice and UCaaS

Desk phone, desktop client and mobile app in a single seat, with voicemail to email and text, an admin portal, and the migration fully project managed.

Contact center

Options from a simple queue through to enterprise CCaaS, with recording, transcription and sentiment alerts, from providers including Five9, Genesys and Dialpad.

SD-WAN

Over the top of existing circuits, or bundled with new connectivity, with voice prioritization and wireless failover.

Data centers, cloud and global connectivity are sourced the same way, from about 130 vetted providers in the United States and internationally, drawn from relationships with more than 500 suppliers.

Where the line sits

The program complements an MSP's services. It never competes with them.

The boundary is drawn together before the first account, so T Advisors never steps into the partner's work.

The partner keeps

Its own practice

  • Core managed IT and security services
  • The customer relationship and the brand
  • Existing contracts and pricing, untouched
  • Final say on anything proposed to its accounts
T Advisors adds

The services underneath

  • Connectivity, UCaaS, contact center and SD-WAN
  • Provider selection, quoting and contracts
  • Implementation and project management
  • Ongoing support, escalations and renewals
Roles

A light lift for the partner, the heavy lifting for T Advisors.

What the partner does

  • Makes the introduction
  • Shares what it knows about the account and upcoming renewals
  • Joins key customer calls where it wants to
  • Keeps owning the relationship

What T Advisors does

  • Holds the provider agreements, about 130 of them, and registers the opportunity
  • Needs analysis, solution design, quotes and proposals
  • Implementation, project management and escalation support
  • Contract tracking, renewals, and commission processing and payment
Compensation

An upfront bonus, then a residual every month the account bills.

Upfront bonus

Paid on the account's monthly recurring charge at signing. Depending on the provider, it can approach one month of that charge.

Monthly residual

A commission paid every month for the life of the account, which grows as the partner's book grows.

Nothing to the customer

No advisory or assessment fees. The providers compensate T Advisors, and a large share of that is passed to the partner.

Bonus and commission levels vary by provider and by service. The partner's share of each is set in the partner agreement rather than published here.

Protection

The customer contracts with the provider. Commissions flow back through T Advisors to the partner.

The customersigns directly The providerpays commissions T Advisorsshares bonus and residuals The partnergets paid

Registered in the partner's name

Every opportunity is registered with the provider before anything is quoted.

No bypass

Providers do not circumvent a registered partner, and most no longer run direct sales teams at all.

Tracked every month

Every commission received is processed, reconciled and paid out.

Engagement models

Three ways to work together.

The partner chooses how visible T Advisors is to the customer. In every model, T Advisors supports implementation, escalations and renewals for the life of the account, and can engage fully in Spanish.

Referral

The partner introduces the account and steps back. T Advisors runs the assessment, the proposal and the implementation, and keeps the partner informed throughout.

Co-sell

T Advisors joins customer calls as part of the partner's team and builds the analysis alongside it.

White label

T Advisors operates behind the partner's brand. Proposals go out under the partner's name, with the T Advisors team working in the background.

Case study

One SD-WAN project grew into the full technology stack.

Nationwide Motorsports Company, a powersports dealer with six United States locations.

The problem

Packet loss, latency and jitter meant locations could not reliably reach cloud systems, pull inventory or take payments.

How the account grew

It started with over-the-top SD-WAN and wireless failover, then a network penetration test. Connectivity, UCaaS, contact center, a switch replacement and network security followed. Within a year every one of those services was billing, each paying a bonus and an ongoing residual.

The platform

A proprietary CRM and portal built for this model.

Document ingestion

Reads contracts and bills in PDF, Word and Excel to build a full picture of each account.

Renewal tracking

Knows when every contract expires, so a proposal lands before the renewal date rather than after it.

Partner portal

Carries the partner's logo, and shows every account, opportunity and commission in one place.

Customer portal

Locations, services and contracts in one view that an executive can put in front of a board.

API integrations

Shares data with the tools the partner already runs, such as IT Glue.

Commission tracking

Tracks every provider payment across the full account lifecycle.

Both directions

Opportunities go to partners as well as coming from them.

The consulting practice runs technical, operational, product and cyber due diligence for private equity firms. Where that work finds a gap, trusted partners are recommended into it.

Where partners get referred

  • Virtual CISO and CTO engagements
  • Penetration testing
  • Outsourced IT and security
  • Cloud and virtualization

And on the buy side

T Advisors can also help a partner find better data centers and cloud providers in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and beyond, and often better pricing with the same carriers its customers already use.

Why T Advisors

Experienced, vendor-neutral and straightforward to work with.

Proven track record

Decades of executive experience in telecommunications and managed services, and a reputation built in the same industry the partner sells into.

Vendor neutral

The recommendation is the best fit from about 130 vetted providers, never a forced product.

Built to make the partner look good

Every engagement is structured to strengthen the partner's standing with its own customer.

Bilingual team

Customer engagement in English or Spanish.

Getting started

Four steps to a first commission.

  1. 01

    Mutual NDA

So platforms and service portfolios can be shared openly on both sides.

  2. 02

    Partner agreement

Defines the services in scope, the bonuses and the commission share.

  3. 03

    Onboarding

Portal access, and a review of the partner's accounts and upcoming renewals.

  4. 04

    First opportunity

It is registered with the provider, and the assessment begins.

Next step

Start with a conversation about one account.

The quickest way to see how the program works is to walk through a single account and an upcoming renewal. Every conversation is confidential, and the team responds within one business day.
