Nationwide Motorsports Company
One provider, six locations, and a network the business can rely on.
Nationwide Motorsports Company is a powersports dealer in South Florida, selling and servicing motorcycles, personal watercraft, side-by-sides and ATVs. It came to T Advisors with a network the business could not rely on, and now runs voice, contact center, connectivity, switching and network security from a single provider across six locations.
The challenge
The company was running two internet feeds, one coax and one fiber, and losing quality on the primary carrier. Packet loss, jitter and latency were degrading the services the stores depend on, and the problem was reliability rather than any single outage.
In retail that is not a back-office problem. Phone calls suffer and card payments are at risk, and both of those are the business trading.
What T Advisors did
-
01
SD-WAN over the top
Rather than rip out the circuits, SD-WAN was put across the Comcast and AT&T connections the company already had, so both feeds carried traffic at once and sessions moved between them automatically when one degraded.
-
02
Cellular behind the wired feeds
If one wired feed fails, or both fail, the sites still reach the cloud communications platform, so calls continue and card payments keep going through.
-
03
A penetration test
With the network stable, the company asked T Advisors to test it. The test was carried out and reported; the items found went to the company's IT department and were closed.
-
04
Voice, contact center, switching and security
Multiple providers were analyzed and TPx selected, supplying UCaaS and contact center with primary and secondary connectivity. Switches were added and the SonicWall environment was replaced with TPx and Fortinet.
Six sites, one provider, one support number.
Five retail locations and a warehouse.
UCaaS, contact center, SD-WAN, switching and network security.
Three dedicated feeds, two fiber and one coax, with cellular behind them.
The company's own IT department, with co-managed access to the TPx network operations center.
T Advisors earned the trust and the business
Nationwide Motorsports Company first came to T Advisors with packet loss on a single carrier. Each engagement that followed was requested only after the last one had been delivered. That is how one network fix grew into a single-provider estate spanning six sites.
Request a technology assessment
One unreliable carrier became a six-site network with a single point of accountability. That started with a vendor-neutral review.
